FUSIBLE Cut-away Backing – 80gsm White 100m roll

Our white fusible (iron-on) cut-away backing is a soft mid to heavy-weight cut-away, suitable for a variety of frabrics.  Cut-away backing provides the stability required for stitching to stretch-type fabrics, such as used in t-shirts and sweatshirts, which would otherwise tend to shift during stitching.  The backing is a permanent fixture to the garment, providing long-term stability to the embroidered design.

The addition of a heat activated adhesive to the backing means that it stays permanently with the fabric and shouldn’t roll or distort.

Apply the fusible backing with an iron or heat press with temperature between 130 and 150 degrees celsius, pressure at 1.5-2.5KgF/cm2 (21-35psi), for 10-15 seconds or until well bonded.

Recommended washing instructions:  maximum 35 degrees celcius (Cold Wash recommended)

Available in a full 1metre wide, 100m long roll – just cut to the desired size for your application, minimising wastage.
