Nylon Spunbond (“no-show”) soft Cut-away Backing – 55gsm Black 50m roll

This black cut-away backing is a soft, sheer and light weight cut-away, suitable for a variety of  fabrics and applications, but is especially suited to use as a stabiliser for embroidery to lightweight jersey and other knit fabrics, including for t-shirts. Cut-away backing provides the stability required for stitching to stretch-type fabrics, such as used in t-shirts and sweatshirts, which would otherwise tend to shift during stitching.  The backing is a permanent fixture to the garment, providing long-term stability to the embroidered design.

Nylon spunbond (No Show Mesh) is made of 100% embossed nylon, a type of permanent cutaway embroidery backing. As it is semitransparent, it is ideal for use on lightweight and dark colored fabrics because it will minimally show through. The diagonal embossing pattern of the fabric is stable in multiple directions. The translucent nature of this stabilizer eliminates the bulk, stiffness and shadowing characteristic of other types of permanent stabilizers. It is perfect for left chest logos, pique knits, T Shirts, infant items and micro fiber apparel.
