Use the Mighty Hoop magnetic embroidery hoop on almost any (commercial) embroidery machine to improve productivity, reduce hoop burn, and reduce stress on arms and wrists. Traditional embroidery hoops require adjustment of the outer ring to grip the item to be embroidered taut within the hoop. The Mighty Hoop does not require any such adjustment. Mighty Hoops hold the garment with magnetic force, and therefore automatically adjust for different thicknesses. Let the magnets do the work! 12.5″x 15.75″ Mighty Hoop – Actual inside 12.5 x 15.75″or 318 x 400mm. Approximate usable size, 11.75 x 15″ or 298 x 380mm. * usable inside size is about 0.75″or 20mm less than actual inside size. This could be more or less depending on the machine brand and model. Usable size is limited by the size of the machine presser foot and the sewing area capability of the machine.
NOTE: This is a very large hoop, and will only fit on commercial machines with a larger field area of 500 x 450mm, such as the SWF UK series of multi-head machines, and the SWF wide single head machines (non-“compact” machines) Choose the correct model / size that relates to your machine – this refers to the width of the standard hoops that you currently use. Please give measurement in mm of width between the arms of the machine (where your machine hoops slide in to) – alternatively, measure the width of a standard hoop for your machine from outside edge of metal bracket to the outside edge of the opposite bracket. This hoop is also available for the SWF Single head machines that have the wide 500mm hoop attachment – HOWEVER this hoop has brackets that force the hoop centre to be offset (to the front of the machine) by one inch. The single head machine will not be able to stitch at the very front of the hoop due to this offset.
