Our 80gsm white cut-away backing is a soft mid to heavy-weight cut-away, suitable for knits and stretch fabrics. Cut-away backing provides the stability required for stitching to stretch-type fabrics, such as used in t-shirts and sweatshirts, which would otherwise tend to shift during stitching. The backing is a permanent fixture to the garment, providing long-term stability to the embroidered design.

Pre-cut squares are a time & waste-saving option for your embroidery requirements – no need to cut pieces for each embroidery. Available in common use sizes of 16x16cm, 19x19cm and 23x23cm (to suit 12cm, 15cm and 18cm round frames / hoops respectively).

This white 80gsm cut-away backing is also available in a full 1metre wide, 100m long roll, or widths of 20cm, 25cm, 30cm and 50cm for convenient hooping application.
