Over the Back Fusible Interlining

Over the Back Fusible Interlining for Embroideries – Compare to Tender Touch™ by Sulky – is a lightweight, permanent knit interlining or stabiliser.  Over the Back is perfect to cover the back of machine embroidery to help protect sensitive skin from scratchy embroidery stitches.

Help prevent shredding or distortion from heavy  needle penetrations during embroidery on delicate fabrics like silk, satin, lamé, batiste, open weave fabrics and lightweight cottons by applying Over the Back as a stabiliser before embroidery.  Over the Back protects the fabric by giving it necessary support during embroidery, without changing the hand or drape of the fabric.  And because Over the Back stretches with the garment, it is ideal for infant garments, sports wear, lingerie and spandex.  Apply another layer over the back of the embroidery to stop scratching on the skin from rough stitches.
